Precautions for using WinDVD
----------------------------

Please read the following precautions before using the InterVideo WinDVD
on your computer.


1.  If you want to change the region of the DVD-ROM drive, insert into
    the DVD drive a medium containing the region code that you want to
    change into. 
    Some of the DVD-Video media may not be used to change the region. 
    In addition, when performing the 5th setup, use a medium containing
    only the region that you want to set up. If the medium does not have
    the desired region code or has multiple regions, it cannot be used.

2.  WinDVD does not support the playback of Video CD.

3.  WinDVD does not support the playback of Audio CD.

4.  WinDVD does not support the playback of MP3.

5.  Please do not open other applications while playing DVD-Video.
    If other applications are opened, playback performance decreases and 
    playback cannot continue properly.

6.  Please use an AC power source when playing DVD-Video.
    If an AC power source is not used, the computer runs on the battery
    mode.
    Playback performance may decrease when using the battery.
    In addition, playback performance may decrease depending on 
    power-save settings even if an AC power source is used. 
    Therefore, please use the full-power mode without changing the 
    default setting.

7.  The Parental control function is not supported on this computer.

8.  On Satellite1800 series, if you click on the 'Enable Different
    Refresh Rate' setting and click on the Display Devices 'LCD/CRT'
    or 'LCD/TV' setting, you cannot play the DVD-Video.

9.  Please do not change the screen resolution or number of colors while
    executing WinDVD.

10. Please do not use the screen saver and the display auto-off feature
    while executing WinDVD.

11. Please do not use the Command Prompt while executing WinDVD.

12. You cannot use the Standby/Hibernation feature while executing WinDVD.

13. There is no setup of "Quality settings" in the Display tab of the
    Properties option.

14. There is no setup of "Hardware motion compensation" in the Display
    tab of the Properties option.
